Pablo Picasso

Pablo Picasso was a Spanish painter, sculptor and draughtsman. Picasso was born in 1881 in the city of Malaga, Spain. At the young age of 14, Picasso was accepted into the prestigious art school called La Coruna. However, he disliked the formula structure so decided to quit. In 1900, Picasso moved to Paris where he began to gain recognition from art collectors. He is best known for co-founding the Cubist movement, a style of painting which shows the subject from many different viewpoints at the same time. Today, Picasso is recognized as one of the most influential artist of the 20th century.
